Zion National Park Campgrounds: There are several excellent campgrounds in the Zion National Park area. Zion National Park campgrounds offer many of the amenities you'd expect from a campground and most are close to the park. There is also a campground within the park that is operated by the National Park Service. Area campgrounds often come with restrooms, fire-pits and other needed amenities. One option to consider is camping at the Native American Cultural Center at the east gate of Zion National Park . This cultural center offers tipi's and Navajo Hogan's to sleep in and breakfast is included. Click here for more information. Preferred Lodging:
Many people looking for campgrounds, prefer to stay at the east gate of the park where the summer temperatures are cooler and the environment is more conducive to the experience you would expect at a National Park. Lodging options at the east gate of the park include locations such as campgrounds and lodging such as Zion Mountain Resort, Clear Creek Ranch, and camping options at the Village of Many Nations – Native American Cultural Center . At the west side of the park is the town of Springdale where you'll find more hustle and bustle with shops, restaurants and hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts.
