Preferred Lodging:  Many people prefer to stay at the east gate of the park where the summer temperatures are cooler and the environment is more conducive to the experience you would expect at a National Park. Lodging options at the east gate community of Zion Mountain include locations such as, Zion Mountain Resort, Clear Creek Ranch, and camping options at the Village of Many Nations – Native American Cultural Center . At the west side of the park is the town of Springdale where you'll find more hustle and bustle with shops, restaurants and hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts.
